Our history

"Once upon a time, there were three sensitive girls who decided to follow the opportunities presented to them by chance. But they were stuck in jobs that weren't very exciting. So I, "C'est Mon Mug", got them out of this nightmare so that they could give free rein to their artistic aspirations, and I don't regret it, because they're really very inspired girls!"

With Marina and Laure, whom I've known for almost as long as I can remember, what we have in common, apart from an unfailing friendship, is an undeniable curiosity about everything that surrounds us. Fauna, flora and its colours, culture in all its forms and latitudes, architecture, decoration, cooking... But it's also, and above all, thanks to our specificities and our desire for accomplishment that "C'est Mon Mug" was born.

My interest in mugs began when I was a little girl, during a school trip to the snow. During the shopping trip, when you spend a certain amount of time choosing a souvenir to take home. I don't know why, but at that moment, rather than at another, I immediately put aside all the trinkets and cameras/slides and concentrated on something nice, but also and above all useful.

​

That was my first mug! Well, I also brought back a wooden butter mould to form the 'homemade' butter that was never used in the end - nobody's perfect!

​

Marina, Laure and I are all fans of coffee breaks and tea time*, the promise of delicious treats and convivial moments. So, over the years, I've built up a fine collection of mugs in my china cabinet to satisfy our desires. It often gives us lots of creative ideas: "that one's really nice, but I'd like to see a few flowers here, a bit of red in the background there... and why not create our own collections of mugs? The "C'est Mon Mug" brand was born.

Out of concern for the planet and for the health of us all, we've opted for a superior range of ceramics, certified for food contact, just like our "Eco-passport" certified inks. Our mugs are made to order, by choice, in line with our ecological conscience, within 3 days. We print them with care in our workshop in France.

​

With our collections, we want to add to your everyday life so that you can share many moments with your loved ones. We're constantly expanding our themes to reflect your tastes and sensibilities.

You'll soon see that you can't help it: when someone you know picks up one of your favourite mugs from our collections, you won't be able to resist telling them: "Don't touch it, it's MY mug!
